Research Summary

Originally from Springfield, Illinois, I am a second-year student pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. I only recently joined the lab of Dr. Shujie Yang and Dr. Xiangbing Meng, though I look forward to refining my laboratory abilities and expanding my knowledge of (endometrial) cancer research as I undergo training. Thus far, I have begun learning about the intricacies of Western blotting, the growing of cell cultures, and things of the like. As the years go by, I hope to accumulate laboratory experience and gain an insight into the world of medicine so that I may better prepare myself for my future, which will hopefully unfold in medical school.
