Research Summary

My name is Lauren Rosenstock and I am a student in the Class of 2024 at the University of Iowa. I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences (B.S.) on the Pre-Medicine track with minors in Chemistry and Art. I am originally from Madison, WI. I first got involved in research back in 2019 through a job shadowing experience at the University of Madison. I greatly enjoyed my time spent in research labs in high school and so I knew when arriving at Iowa that I wanted to conduct research during my undergraduate studies. I am so grateful for the support and mentorship that Dr. Yang and her lab team have given me. This experience has helped me become confident in my laboratory skills and expand my knowledge of research experiments in both in vivo and in vitro endometrial cancer models.
